NLCS: Weather Report for Tonight [J. Mark English]

The weather forecast does not bode well for baseball.
According to Weather.com it should be cloudy for most of the day. By around 7:00 doom sets in as showers are expected to fall, turning into rain/thunder later in the night. Between 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm the chance percipitation will rise from 40% to 70%. Back in my college days, when I would hope for snow the next day, the higher the percipitation meant the likelihood of school being cancelled was increased. 90% percipitation guaranteed at least one to two inches of snow per hour. I can only imagine how this must translate into rain.
If baseball officials decide to call this game due to rain, I hope they do it early before fans gather into Flushing for no purpose at all. Otherwise, if there will only be a drizzle for most of the game then let them play!
But of all days, why did it have to rain today?
