In 2000, before Game 3 of the Yanks-Mets World Series, Vieira and a camera crew — both representing ABC’s “The View” —entered Shea Stadium and headed out on the field to track down some players.

The Mets were under the full and clear impression that Vieira and crew were granted access in order to conduct legitimate business, whether it be to interview players about any relevancy of the day, or to produce a feature about the intense, throwback baseball rivalry that had returned to grip New York in October.

But Vieira’s mission was strictly lowbrow, strictly from the bottom of the slop sink. Arriving at Shea in a Mets uniform, she had a burning question to ask of Met players: Which of you has the biggest penis?
