So Long Coach

In my years at Catholic University, I had the great fortune to participate in the sport of crew (or what is otherwise known as rowing).

Our coach, G. Joseph Creed, passed away yesterday. He was a gifted teacher of the sport, a genius who worked with NIH, and been part of a great racing team with Georgetown back in the 1960's. He was a Vietnam vet, who dedicated his life to coaching young people in the sport of rowing. He will be missed by those who knew him.
