METS WIN THE WRIGHT WAY!

Afterwards, Carlos Beltran was asked how exhausted he was.
"I'm pretty tired," he said. "I want to go home."
Beltran finally could. Thanks to a 14th-inning double by David Wright.
Wright rocketed a game-winning, ground-rule double to center with two outs in the bottom of the 14th last night at Shea, almost right at the stroke of midnight, bringing in Beltran for a remarkable 8-7 Mets victory over the Braves in front of 47,720.
The game took 4 hours and 47 minutes. Atlanta used nine pitchers, finishing the game with a starter, Jorge Sosa. The Mets used six relievers, and both teams went to all of their bench players.
"Just an overall crazy game but the games you've got to have, especially with guys in your division," Willie Randolph said.
It's the third walk-off hit for the Mets this week. Last night, they trailed by five different scores, including a four-run margin in the seventh.
