Ben Roethlisberger In Motorcycle Accident [J. Mark English]

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been involved in a motorcycle accident in Pittsburgh.
Witnesses said the player's motorcycle collided with a car near a downtown intersection.
They also said Roethlisberger's head hit the windshield and was bleeding.
One witness told a local television station that Roethlisberger, 24, was conscious but appeared disoriented before he was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital.
A Steelers spokesman confirmed Roethlisberger is being treated for an injury, but wouldn't provide additional details.
Roethlisberger has said in the past that he prefers not to wear a helmet when riding.
The third-year star helped guide the Steelers to the Super Bowl championship last season.
