Lewis, Ramsey Find Different Teams [David Stefanini]
Jamal Lewis, the back who once awed with a 2,000 yard plus season, has signed a contract with the Browns. The contract is for one year worth 3.5 million dollars. The contract has stipulations in it which claim Lewis can be paid up to 5 million dollars if he meets certain touchdown and yardage amounts during the season.
Also making news today was QB Patrick Ramsey signing with the Broncos to back up quarterback Jay Cutler. The Broncos game Ramsey 2 years worth 5 million dollars. I can not believe how many teams were interested in signing Ramsey. Supposedly there were close to 3-5 teams who were looking to sign him. What has he done to deserve this kind of attention? That is a question that I can not answer.
