So Long George Mason (and LSU)

Monday night should provide a great matchup between Florida and UCLA, which Gregg Doyel previews, as does Pat Forde. However, George Mason, the Cinderella team, and the first Mid-Major to reach the Finals since Indiana State in 1979, will no longer be around.
Ultimately the winner of Monday's game will be forgotten, but George Mason's dream tournament will not. It is too soon to know what impact George Mason's run will have on the face of college basketball, but the Mid-Majors' role in the NCAA will change for certain. Pete Thamiel adds some early perspective to Mason's improbable run.
