Barry Bonds Update

  • MLB will not certify Barry Bonds 715 ball...quick thought on this...Isn't this like punishing someone before they are proven guilty? Yes we all 'know' Bonds took steroids, but he has never tested positive. If we are to assume that anything Bonds does from now on should be considered tainted, do we also not do the same thing for every other player who we feel took steroids? Everytime Giambi or Sheffield hit a homerun, should those balls just be thrown away? Can we take Sosa or McGwire balls that sit in the HOF and destroy them? It seems that MLB is singling out Bonds, but only because he is better then anyone else that may be on the juice.
  • To add injury to insult, Barry Bonds was hit in the head by a ball during batting practice.
