Your Daily Fix 12.12.06 [J. Mark English]
- Whether your a frustrated Michigan fan, or you just would rather have a playoff system rather then the BCS, Sports Illustrated is offering you an outlet!
- Despite brawl, Miami and FIU will play again next year...lets call it Brawl Bowl II. (Say that ten times fast...)
- Kansas City Chief legend, Lamar Hunt, is fighting for his life. (Without him, there may be no such thing as a Super Bowl)
- John Czarnecki of Fox Sports argues that Brees should be MVP, not his former teamate, LT.
- Astros' quickly forget PeTTiTTe (please refer to earlier post), and trade for Jason Jennings.
- The New York Mets and the Baltimore Orioles will square off on May 21st, in the Hall of Fame game, featuring a rematch of the 1969 World Series.
- Jim Dolan, the Knicks' disgraced owner has come out and said that Isiah Thomas has the whole season before any thoughts of getting the axe should arise. (I guess, the boo's should fade away eventually for Isiah - after all, empty seats don't boo.)
- Tracy McGrady is out indefinitely, and as David Stefanini points out, that is the second time in two years.
