Scottie Pippen Wants a Chance [David Stefanini]

Scottie Pippen announced he wants to make a return to the NBA. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it is true. Pippen said he wants to make a return to a championship contender and give them the playoff experience needed to win. To prove he can still play he is willing to take a 10-day contract for the league minimum.
So what teams would possibly be interested in Pippen? My guess is teams like the Lakers, Cavs, Heat, and Suns could use Pippen on their roster. He only wants to play 10-15 minutes a night. I can see him returning to the Lakers to be reunited with Phil Jackson and provide the injury stricken Lakers temporary relief.
However I do not think this is a smart move for Pippen. He is too old and has not been in the league for a long time. He retired due to a knee injury. He says the knee is feeling better, but that is because he is not running up and down the court every night. I do not expect Pippen to make a return this year or any year. He should wait a couple of years, get inducted into the Hall of Fame, and be remembered for the great things he accomplished with Michael Jordan.
