Felix Hernandez is Set to Return [David Stefanini]

This from MLB.com:

"After playing 25 games without right-hander Felix Hernandez, the Mariners welcome their stud starter back on Tuesday night, when he comes off the 15-day disabled list to face the visiting Angels in the opener of a three-game series at Safeco Field.

Hernandez won't be riding a white horse, but that's what his return could symbolize.

"It's like acquiring an ace without giving up anyone," Willie Bloomquist said."

Comments:
The Mariners have been playing great baseball recently and this could be the shot in the arm they need to volt over the Angels in the AL West. If Felix can pitch like he did in the first two games of the season, the Mariners are going to be a very difficult team to play throughout this season. Felix is the kind of pitcher who puts an end to losing streak. The M's will be in the race the entire season for that reason alone.
