Yankees to Break New Ground

The new stadium for the New York Yankees cleared a final hurdle today, when the New York City Council approved the package by an overwhelming vote of support.
The $800 million dollar stadium may break ground in as soon as a month. With the Giants/Jets, Yankees, and the Mets all reported to have new stadiums completed by 2010, the New York sports landscape will look much different then today.
