Its tired, same old story. The Yankees are once again rolling along towards another October season filled with fun and bliss. And they do it at the expense of other teams dreams.
Is been the same story going back to 1918 when some guy named Babe Ruth became a Yankee, just to finance a Broadway show. Interestingly enough, forty years later it was a Broadway play that captured the frustrations and hopes of ABY (Anybody But the Yankees) fans across the country.
Who can forget the great show, Damn Yankees? About a die hard fan who sells his soul to play for the Washington Senators and snatch the pennant away from the Yankees. The hit song from the show was the number called Heart.
The New York Mets should take note of this song, and take heart going into the Subway Series. Without further adieu, here is the classic, Heart:
