Penn State, As Requested By Me [A.J. Cordi]

In Penn State's home opener, they Nittany Lions shut out Golden Panthers, 59-0! However, even here in Pennsylvania, it seems as though PSU has been discredited because FIU is unranked, whereas PSU is 17th. Credit should be given where credit is due. A 59-0 shut out is amazing, regardless of rank!

Quarterback Anthony Morelli threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns, and the rushers accumulated 236 yards overall. But what's really special about this win is that the yards weren't gained by just one passer and one rusher - it was truly a team effort! Check out the box score to see what I mean.

I think this year is going to be a good year for PSU. The team seems more together and having Ol' Joe back on the field proved to be a huge confidence boost!
