- North Carolina Tar Heals defeated Duke at the Cameron Indoor Arena: For the second straight year, North Carolina's youngsters walked into one of college basketball's most intimidating arenas and came out with a confidence-building win....Freshman Brandan Wright scored 19 points while Tyler Hansbrough added 16 to lead the fifth-ranked Tar Heels past No. 16 Duke 79-73, earning their second straight win in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- No. 1 Florida topples Georgia to stretch win streak to 15.

They also interviewed Wade Phillips. Why not interview Marv Levy? Or Tommy Lasorda?
- Former Pacer, and current Sacremento King, Ron Artest, is in trouble with the law once again: Animal services officers seized a Great Dane from the mansion of Sacramento Kings star Ron Artest, saying the dog was underfed.
- Miami Heat have won five in a row and suddenly are the hottest team in the league...they did so by beating the Boston Celtics, who in turn lost their 16th in a row...(wanna guess whos the coldest team in the league?)
