Lakers Looking Good so Far [David Stefanini]

A 2-0 start for the upstart Lakers is a good sign for their fans. They have been very impressive in both their wins so far, in beating the favored Suns, and the underdog Warriors.

Lamar Odom and Ronny Turiaf have been a big part for this great start. Ronny Turiaf is an instant spark plug when he comes off the bench. Lamar Odom has put up great statistics night in and night out. Averaging 28 points 11 rebounds and 7.5 assists. Those are phenomenal numbers. The question is and will be can he continue this production when Kobe comes back into the lineup.

This team is playing like a great playoff team right now. When Kobe comes back he has the individual capability to turn a good playoff team into a championship caliber team. Will he do that? I believe so.
The wild cards for this team are going to be Vladimir Radmanovic, Smush Parker. Both players look confused and not confident so far this season. Radmanovic is a great shooter, he needs to just let the ball fly. He hesitates way to much giving the defense time to collapse on him. Smush Parker needs to realize summer is over, which means Rucker Park is temporarily not holding EBC, Entertainers Basketball Classic, games anymore. This is the NBA, cute fancy plays can be done by players with LeBron, Kobe, and Dwayne Wade talent. Your not one of them, play the game the way it was meant to be played.
