After hitting three home runs off Webb during the regular season, Hawpe greeted him in the National League Championship Series with a two-run single in the third inning to pace the Rockies' 5-1 victory in Game 1 at Chase Field on Thursday night in front of a sellout crowd of 48,142.
The Rockies, who swept the Phillies in the NL Division Series, stayed unbeaten in the postseason with eight hits, but none for extra bases. As a result of the win, Colorado grabbed home-field advantage. After Friday's 8 p.m. MT Game 2, the teams will play three straight at Coors Field starting Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
